Alumna Returns from Afghanistan

Captain Tracy Mayfield, USAF (Psy.D 2008) recently returned from Afghanistan where she was the only SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape) psychologist there. She handled the reintegration of service personnel who are captured by the Taliban (or other local factions), are shot down, etc. and had to survive on their own prior to rescue by friendly forces. CPS alumni, Captain Erin Johns, USA (Ph.D. 2010) is now serving in Iraq.
