NSU Alumnus Meetings President Obama

Michael Bourke Ph.D. (2000) of the United States Marshall’s Service (USMS) met with President Obama and Vice-President Biden at the White House, accompanying the director. Bourke served as the subject matter expert for the meeting which concerned sex offender apprehension. Bourke is Chief Psychologist for the USMS, serving as the head of the Behavioral Analysis Unit. The unit, a component of the National Sex Offender Targeting Center, works in partnership with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), acting as an international intelligence and operations center supporting the identification, investigation, apprehension, and prosecution of noncompliant sex offenders.
