CPS faculty Ralph E. “Gene” Cash, Ph.D., NCSP, and Sarah A. Valley-Gray, Psy.D., along with Kristen M. Cunningham, Psy.D., CPS alumna and acting director of the NSU School Psychology Assessment and Consultation Center (SPACC) presented a poster entitled, “An innovative an collaborative model for the supervision of school psychology trainees,” at the Trainers of School Psychologists meeting at the 2008 Convention of the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). The presentation delineated the innovative training model used at the SPACC, one of several faculty directed clinical specialty programs located at the NSU Psychology Services Center. Trainers representing all regions of the United States had the opportunity to learn about this innovative model of a university-based clinic practicum for school psychologists, as well as about the collaborative model of supervision that guides the monitoring of trainee progress.
